Its been another full and exciting week at Trewern with fifty five year 6 pupils from Valence Primary School staying with us. Their feet barely touched the ground when they arrived on Monday. We whisked them straight off outside to explore the grounds with a spot of orienteering in the sunshine. Everyone threw themselves in to the activity, assuring us that we were on for a good week. Caving and gorgewalking were big hits, as were the BMX sessions. Some children tried out our new sit on tops while others went out in the canoes when the weather turned a little. Everyone achieved a huge amount of progress both in the activities and in their organisational, leadership and teamwork skills.
