The weather has cooled down a little here this week and offered some respite from the London temperatures to a small group of Tower Hamlets Police Cadets and their staff who have been at Trewern for their Summer Camp. The emphasis was on fun and everyone got involved with activities right from the start. The week started with some evening bouldering in the climbing wall, followed the next day by exploring Porth yr Ogof, abseiling into one of the cave entrances and roped climbing after the evening meal. Over the next two days cadets went gorgewalking and canoeing and finally topped the week off with a trip to Brecon for Llanfaes Dairy icecreams as a reward for their hard work. Its been a great week with a highly motivated group of young people.
