Year 6 pupils from Marks Gate Primary School have had a cracking few days of weather to help them enjoy their stay with us. After a fantastic three days in the gorge, on the river and underground, we all spent the final day at Trewern. The pupils had a chance to go into Hay on Wye to have a look around in the morning. Everyone was able to complete their BHF Heartstart Level 2 Award. This is a short course that teaches essential life saving skills such as getting help and dealing with an unconscious casualty. In the afternoon, everyone needed a bit of cooling down so an enthusiastic water fight ensued. Both staff and pupils had a brilliant time and we all finished completely soaking wet. The day was finished off with shelter building, pizzas from the outdoor oven and the muddy puddle jump. What a week!
