James Cambell May 2018

Categories: Uncategorized

We’ve just waved off James Cambell Primary after a great week here at Trewern. Superb weather, excellent attitudes and brilliant listening skills all came together to make this a week to remember. Our aims for the week were to build confidence by trying new things, increase independence and teamwork, and work on using our initiative. These things were achieved amply by the pupils. A particular highlight that demonstrated this perfectly was the caving, and everyone had stories of how they had helped other people, overcome fears, and surprised themselves at how good it felt. The other activities this week were canoeing, archery, bushcraft, BMX, and gorge walking, with orienteering, low roes and bouldering games in the evenings. The progress throughout the week was noticeable, and everyone can feel rightly proud of what they did. Well done everyone.
