We’ve just said goodbye to the children from Hunters Hall Primary, who have been here for the week. With the aim of improving their independence, listening skills and co-operation, we took them canoeing, caving, gorge walking and climbing, with BMX and bushcraft sessions and our muddy puddle swing. Evenings were spent orienteering, problem solving and tackling our low ropes course. This was a lovely group to be with, who managed to do things that surprised themselves most days and made themselves proud everyday, whether it was learning to ride a bike, light a fire or plucking up the courage to pass through the letterbox. Not only that, they managed to improve in all of the areas we wanted to. Well done everyone, keep up the good work!
